Welcome to my new and happy place for blogging! I hope you are all as excited as I am to start this new journey! I have been capturing memories now for 6 years. Can you believe it? I look back at all the amazing people I’ve met along this journey and I feel very blessed and thankful. Because of all of you I can say I’m moving that much closer to doing what I love full time! I hope you enjoy looking around a small piece of my world!
Because every blog post is happier with a photo and the fact spring is coming makes me happy!

Fall ~ New All Inclusive Packages

Fall All Inclusive Packages This year with the fast paced world and the quickness life requires I am trying something different. My biggest request this last year has been for for images on CD. Package 1: $150 30 minute session 5 edited images on CD with print release Package 2: $350 20- edited images on a CD with custom photo CD case and print release Your choice of desk photos (1 8x10 or 2 5x7) Package 3: $450 (biggest savings) 30 edited images on a CD with a custom CD Case and print release 1 8x10 2 5x7 16 wallets These sessions can be used as Senior Sessions, Newborn Sessions and they also make fantastic gifts. I will only be offering 5 sessions each weekend so plan on scheduling your soon. These session prices expire November 12, 2011. All session fees are due 7 days prior to appointment.

BHS Class of 2012 Student Rep ~ Sarah Bennett

Sarah is an amazing girl! She won the contest this year for Sr. Rep in the Belton School district. She is also Miss Belton Runner Up, Student Government President, a Softball diva, a big sister to her amazing siblings and holds a job at the local Grocery Store! Sarah, I can’t wait to see where this adventure leads! You are going to be an amazing Senior Rep and I am so happy you are mine! And weather provided we will be shooting again this weekend!

Tracy & Jamie | Weddings

When I met Tracy and Jamie you could tell they were in love. After talking the details of the wedding we knew it was going to be amazing. They chose an amazing little venue in Harrissonville Missouri called The Frog Prince. I researched like always and I must say the photos online didn’t do it any justice. It was beautiful! And, Oh my goodness or in the words of Bria (Tracy’s daughter) OOOOMMMMGGEEEEEE was it hot! It was 102 that day to be exact and there wasn’t even a hint of wind.
I started with the groom and his groomsmen.
Their first glance was very moving…
Then off to the girls. Tracy looked amazing, she was nervous and not sure she would be able to keep it all together that day but she did an amazing job! In my opinion tears during a wedding when it’s heartfelt are exactly the way it’s supposed to be. The tears shed that day were definitely tears of love. As a wedding photographer I really do try to not get involved during the ceremony but honestly, I couldn’t help it. The vows were hand written with love and affection that I know will last them a lifetime.
The ceremony ended with fireworks by the pond outside the venue. Then they were off to dance the night away.
It was an amazing ceremony and I am so thankful that I was a part of it! Thank you for opening your lives and letting me capture those special moments.

3 of the sweetest little people

I met this mom from a mutual friend when I was looking for some candidates for my new website. We tried so many times to make it work this winter but it just didn’t happen. Secretly, I’m glad it didn’t. Guess it’s not a secret now! These 3 were absolutely amazing! It was hot, sunny and the grass was prickly. You wouldn’t know it from looking at these photos. I had a great time with you guys thank you so much! 
This little man is a football star! He plays for the Monsters and is really excited about his upcoming season and picking up chicks.
So sweet and adores his big brother. 
But, I must tell you this little Diva runs the whole show! Little Abbie was so patient at just a little over 1 she was a trooper!

Sweet Baby Gentry

You may remember my post and newborn session with this amazing little girl!
It’s hard to believe it’s been 3 months since she was born. I was fortunate to take her 3 month photos before they headed to Michigan to se the eye specialist. Gentry was born with Congenital Glaucoma and her prognosis is amazing! Gentry, I truly believe you were sent from god to remind us all of what a miracle life really is. I am so thankful that you are doing so well and your eyes continue to become stronger every day! I know our family will continue to pray for you as will many others. 
So my dear friends when your feeling down and out think of how lucky each and everyone of you are to have perfect vision. Then say a sweet little prayer for Gentry!

Senior Rep Models 2011 – 2012

I’ve had so many questions recently about what a is a Senior Rep and I hope this little Q & A will help clear it up.
A senior rep is a student who is going to graduate next year in 2012 (did I just say that? wow where did time go?)
They can be a boy or a girl.
They MUST live in the Kansas City Area.
They MUST be willing to hand out Senior Rep cards.
They must be outgoing and adventurous!
They must tell all their friends about how much fun their photos with me were! (Because, I promise they will be fun!!!!)
What do they get? Oh My Goodness they get lots of perks!!!
~Three photo shoots (summer, fall and next spring)
~1 11 x 14 of your favorite image (to suprise mom with)
~A $50 print credit if they refer 10 friends who book and pay for a session.
~Total savings to your parents for just doing the above simple task of telling your friends about me is $850!
Who doesn’t want to save money? And be the favorite kid too!
~Low Resolution Images on CD so you can upload your little heart out on Facebook!
~Unique images that won’t be just like your friends!
